The New Balance 749 Trail Running Shoe has been developed for the multi-terrain runner seeking mild stability control to help them navigate through the toughest terrain possible. The 749 features a single density Medial Post and ABZORB cushioning in the heel and forefoot. The lugged outsole is designed to offer exceptional traction on all surfaces. Featuring Acteva Lite, a premium lightweight midsole material which offers superior cushioning and a lower rate of compression set whilst saving weight. A medial wedge of higher than normal density C-CAP midsole material extends from the heel to provide pronation control. ABZORB ensures enhanced heel and forefoot shock absorption rounding off a great mix of cushioning and stability. NLock lacing system ensures an excellent fit with enhanced stability provided by an integrated lacing and webbing system for an optimum fit in the midfoot area whilst the use of a Stability Web provides enhanced medial support and torsional stability. Ndurance rubber compound provides maximum durability in high wear areas of the heel.
